If you've lost access to the email address you used to register for Instagram or have a new email address that you'd like to use, you can change your email account on the photo-sharing app or on your phone. You may also want to update your email address for a variety of reasons, such as starting a new company on Instagram or having your email hacked.

The method is simple and clear, whether your account has been compromised or you have misplaced your password.
Many Instagrammers sign up with a fake email address or an old email address that they no longer use. It could be a smart idea to use a fake email address for security reasons in some cases, but this might lead to other problems in the future.

HOW DO I MODIFY THE INSTAGRAM APP'S EMAIL?
You can update your Instagram email account from the desktop edition of Instagram or directly from the Instagram app.
Merely go to your Instagram profile and select "Edit profile" from the drop-down menu.
Your email address can be found below the "private info"- Please double-check that the email address you provided is right.
- Now you can edit the email address by tapping on it.
- When you're through, click "Done"
- Instagram sends an email confirmation to your new email address when you change your email address in the application.
- Please check your email address by opening the email.

CHANGE YOUR INSTAGRAM EMAIL WITHOUT LOGGING IN
If you're not logged into your Instagram account, you can update your email address. Please ensure you have access to the email address or phone number you used when you signed up before using this method. You risk losing your account if you don't have access to your phone number or former email address.
This is similar to how people recover their accounts after they've been hacked. Instagram will eventually ask for your new phone number and email address. You can submit any email address you want at that point.
- Login to Instagram
- Select the Forgot Password option.
- From the drop-down menu, choose "I need additional assistance."
- Return to Instagram and type your username, phone number, or email address.
- Wait for Instagram to take you to the password change tab.
- Follow all of the directions before you get to the page where you have to verify your email address.
- Replace the old email address and phone number with the new ones.
- Verify
- You're done!
Changing your Instagram email address is simple and convenient in both logged-in and non-logged-in modes. Simply note that you can go to your profile and update your email address there if you have access to your account. If you can't get into the Instagram app, merely use Instagram's forgot password feature.
